Healthy life Happy life

The new year has arrived. New dreams, new ambitions, new responsibilities and so many new tasks that have been lined up in front of us this year. But with these challenges and lot rush during this year and also nowadays it is far more important to keep ourselves ready for these challenges. In all aspects may it be physical or mental health,we always need to be ready.
Like all of you I also have made some plans or resolutions for this year and the most sincere promise made by me  to myself  is regarding fitness. So on this context I have written an intro-informative write up on Indian ancient medical sciences and fitness care.
Indian culture has a vast history. Not only vast but it is diamond studded with innumerous  prosperous and courageous memories. There are many such inventions, discoveries, etc that are given India to the world. The prominent and significant contribution among them which can be considered is in the medical field. Yes!! Ayurveda and Yoga are the greatest contributions of India of all the time to the whole world.  It has been prooven by many scientists of foreign countries that the facts explained in Ayurveda proove to be beneficial  than any other type of medicine. Also another plus point of Ayurveda is, it has no side effects. Yes it may take a little longer to cure but once it heels the problem, it protects you lifelong. Another one is Yoga. Not only medicines but also exercise keeps you fit and fine. The Ashtanga-yoga-siddhi is a perfect manual of daily bodily warm-ups and exercises that help you to keep your body well maintained and disease free. Understanding the techniques of Yoga and performing them regularly keeps your body well maintained and flexible.
Knowing these benefits of Yoga 21st June is celebrated as International Yoga Day.
The energy required for keeping oneself active and fresh whole day, can be gained by performing various asanas. The exercises demonstrated in Yoga are planned in such a way that, it ensures the whole body warm-up. The stretching exercise, the muscle building exercise, etc.
Also with exercise one should have a sufficient and healthy diet. Fast food kills us fast. So we should avoid it. Also we should avoid tea or coffee and prefer milk. If we eat much hot and spicy food it can proove injurious to your health. Food of medium taste keeps one's health better. Also the balanced diet can give proper amount of energy required for your body.
Apart from all this one's mood or mental state affects on his or her mental or physical health. So keeping our mindset stable and focused is necessary. If we have a glance into ancient times, people lived a long life because they inhaled plenty of fresh air. It's true that due to hussle and bustle in cities and pollution done by industries it is not possible to breathe fresh air these days. But in the early morning or in the dawn the air is considerably fresh. There is more amount of oxygen in the air, but we just keep sleeping. Rather we should have a morning walk.
Our ancestors have given us this grand heritage, and as their successors it's our responsibility that we understand it's importance and live a happy and healthy life. Ayurveda is a divine favour done by our ancestors to us. But nowadays some people are misleading it's importance putting it under the banner of relegion. Lastly Ayurveda is a science and science can't never be discriminated on the basis of religion. Yoga in comparison has globalised
due to it's medical importance likewise as a proud Indian it's our responsibility to know or understand the importance of Ayurveda and apply it into our routine and follow it as a science
With this humble request I conclude my write-up. Health is more important than wealth as, wealth lost can be earned back but loss of a life cannot be fulfilled in any terms.
A little more attention towards our health can lead us a happy and prosperous life.
Stay fit, stay healthy and keep smiling.
